ULTRA MARATHON POWER BATTERY
INTRODUCTION
The demand for smaller, more efficient, and more eco-friendly energy sources is growing higher every day as the planet moves towards a greener future. The advantages of UMP battery technology are significant and they are incorporating a number of economical as well as ecological aspects that are important for a future driven by renewable green energy sources.
The UMP battery is a type of rechargeable battery, which has the advantage of being faster to charge than other batteries. A UMP battery is a modified lithium-ion battery with nanotechnology. This makes fast charging possible and provides high current when needed.
The UMP batteries have been developed to meet the highest standards in a wide range of operational conditions, having a higher level of operational abuse tolerance than existing batteries. This ensures an uninterrupted life span with maximum safety and minimum maintenance through the use.
These special batteries are equipped with advanced chemistries, which are absolutely safe to operate, well established, and proven with much high performance of up to 10,000 life cycles at 80% DoD.
The low reactivity with electrolyte eliminates the SEI (solid electrolyte interface) layer which improves the thermal stability of the UMP battery. The chemistry eliminates the dendrite formation which eliminates the risk of internal short circuits.
The UMP battery having nearly 0% self-discharge, No memory effect, and only 6% capacity fading at -10 Degrees Celsius is a revolution in battery technologies.

LONG LIFE
With the advanced nanotechnology UMP batteries are especially designed to enhance the lifetime. With an over 30 times larger surface area, this technology is able to recharge substantially faster than it’s more alternatives that are traditional. The cycle count of this technology is 10,000 at 80% DoD marking a revolutionary approach to energy storage. The designed life of the battery is about 25 years.
RAPID CHARGING
UMP batteries are advanced modified batteries that employ nanotechnology instead of normal carbon material on its surface. The advantage of this is that the anode has a surface area of about 100 square meters per gram of material – which certainly stands out as a lot more when compared with the 3 square meters per gram for normal carbon material. The max charge rate the battery can sustain is 10C, which means the battery can be fully charged in 6 minutes if power resources are available.
ENHANCED SAFETY
In addition to the enhanced efficiency and energy-conserving qualities, this UMP battery has high level of safety when used in comparison to alternative options. As UMP batteries are entirely free of carbon, they avoid thermal runaway or overheating which is a main cause of fires in traditional energy storage systems.
LOW TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCE
Another advantage of using UMP batteries is that due to the nanotechnology employed, these batteries have a much better low temperature performance in comparison to other battery technologies.
Due to these low-temperature discharge characteristics, it is able to obtain up to 80% of its full capacity at a mere -30°C. Having a very vast operating temperature range between -30°C to 65°C.
The UMP battery is highly customizable and it can be configured in any size and capacity. Voltage range 6, 12, 24, 48, 72, and 96.
